The work included addition of lobby, porte-cochere, elevators and replacement of roof top a/c equipment. S & F provided structural design and special inspection for this project. The project involved addition of a three story, 22,000 sf operating room using computerized surgical equipment and a mechanical penthouse. The precision surgical equipment required very stringent controls of deflections and vibrations. S & F chose concrete frame with precast concrete. The structure was supported on auger cast concrete piles. Construction Cost: $8 Million
